Hernon Manufacturing introduces Fusionbond™- Engineered Structural Adhesive. Fusionbond™ is a two-component, methacrylate adhesive that is specially formulated to bond diverse substrates such as ABS, Nylon, PVC, Gel Coats, PBT blends, Steel, and more.
Fusionbond™ is available in an easy to dispense dual-50 milliliter package complete with a static mixer to take the guesswork out of mixing the adhesive. The user simply removes the cap, inserts a disposable static mixer, applies Fusionbond™, and then finishes by reinstalling the cap. The Fusionbond™ is ready for the next repair. Fusionbond™ is also available in dual-400 milliliter cartridges and larger sizes for production applications. Hernon Manufacturing offers a complete line of dispensing solutions to create a turnkey Fusionbond™ bonding system.
In addition to strength and versatility, Fusionbond™ offers chemical resistance to material such as kerosene, hydrocarbon oil, mineral spirits, and ethylene glycol. In testing, Fusionbond™ maintained integrity in unleaded gasoline for more than 1000 hours.
